Little Women: A Modern Retelling

Community Arts Collective is proud to present Little Women! This experimental adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's classic novel explores what it means to be a woman in the 21st century as the March sisters enter the modern age. Join Amy, Meg, Beth, and Jo on their funny, heartwarming, and sometimes devastating journeys into womanhood at USC's E.F. Hutton Amphitheater for this can't-miss production. We recommend bringing camping chairs/blankets to sit on and a picnic dinner to enjoy! Performances are free, family- and sensory-friendly, and open to the public.

CAC's monthly Community Open Mic Nights are a great chance to show off anything you've been dreaming about sharing with an audience. This event is all about celebrating the arts in our community and having fun, anyone and everyone is welcome to get up onstage!

Don't want to perform? Come watch, it's free!

Acts may include (but are certainly not limited to): singing, stand-up comedy, monologue or scene performance, improv, dance, magic, playing an instrument, reading an excerpt of original written work, or presenting a piece of visual art. All participants are expected to adhere to a few basic guidelines:

- Acts should limit themselves to 5 minutes or less each
​
- You must check in by 7:30 PM for the 8 PM performance in order to hold your spot.
​
-Please let CAC know ahead of time if your act contains any potentially triggering material so that we can warn audience members
​
-Avoid material that includes derogatory or discriminatory language
​
-No weapons or props resembling weapons
​
-Performers should supply any props, music, or other needs OR contact CAC prior to signing up to request these things
​
-Have fun, and please invite your friends to come watch, perform, and join the celebration!
